Clean stay.

The initially booked standard room was small but clean and right in front of the parking on the first floor. Had flies buzzing around so we asked to change the room with no flies. They did and gave us a bigger room with a fireplace on the 2d floor with big fridge and full bathtub. Clean and quiet back from the highway. No breakfast but we went to A&W and bought our own good one.

Nice, clean rooms. Friendly staff. The air conditioning is loud but blows cold. Unfortunately, the walls are thin so you hear everything from the room next-door. The driveway to the back rooms is narrow so use caution when going to or from them. We had a couple of near misses with other vehicles that were going too fast. Overall, a pleasant stay. Central to where we were going and beautiful Pembroke.

Perfect Cosy Hideaway

Beautifully decorated room with cozy fireplace. Well kept building and grounds. Overall a very inviting place to stay. We enjoyed it so much that we stayed an extra night. Check in was easy, owner was friendly. The room and bathroom were spacious and super clean. Lots of surfaces to place our stuff (two small tables, lots of seating). Bathroom towels thick and clean. Bed was good, pillows I prefer a bit plumper. Huge tv with a remote that operated both tv and cable. AC unit wasn’t too loud. Regular size fridge was a bonus. Unfortunately the ground floor room had a connecting door to the room next door. So when guests checked in we could hear them talking and their tv. We could also hear every time they opened/closed their door. We also could hear the guest walking in the room above. Probably better to get a room on 2nd floor next time.
