Added 2 more nights to my stay. Nice smelling room with small kitchen. Good daily housekeeping. Free parking. Not safe to walk towards Fortino area but it is only one bus stop away. Free bus rides within 2 hours. This area feels safer than Hamilton downtown. Walkable to a few restaurants on the west of the hotel. Good breakfast by the onsite restaurant although it doesn’t open on Mondays.

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Ontario
Book for the cheapest times: Visiting Ontario on a budget is a truly affordable experience. The months of January, February, and December are particularly appealing, as hotel prices may drop during these periods, offering great value for money. A stay of at least 2 days is ideal to fully appreciate Ontario's key landmarks, historical sites, cultural attractions, and natural wonders. For travellers seeking a budget-friendly adventure, these months provide an excellent opportunity to explore the region without breaking the bank.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals in Ontario, consider exploring the Dealsopens in new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover reduced rates on hotels as your travel date approaches. Enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com could keep you informed about flash sales and exclusive promotions, ensuring you stay updated on potential savings. Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature within the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, so you’re more likely to see the best options available. This way, you can seize the opportunity for a spontaneous getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate based on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a better deal on your stay in an Ontario hotel. For those seeking unique experiences, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and may offer enhanced value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price tends to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, assisting you in your search for a more favourable rate.
Consider your location: Staying in the heart of major cities throughout Ontario offers undeniable convenience but is often accompanied by elevated price tags. While the city centre provides close proximity to key attractions and a vibrant urban experience, accommodations in these areas are more likely to be costly. In contrast, smaller towns and rural locales tend to be more affordable options. For those seeking better rates, it may be worthwhile to consider hotels situated outside the central areas, though this might necessitate additional travel time to reach popular attractions. Alternatively, exploring nearby cities with ample offerings can present a more budget-friendly selection while still ensuring an engaging visit.

During this peak period, the weather is mostly sunny to mostly cloudy, with light rainfall.
