Overnight Stop
Selected hotel as it was pet friendly for our cat and rated well. The gentleman who checked us in was very kind and friendly - no issues at all. We reserved two rooms. One room was decent meaning everything worked, it was a place to sleep; however it was very dirty. The tops and insides of drawers appeared to have not been cleaned in a very long time. The second room was upstairs. The normal heating / cooling unit was broken (we weren't made aware of that at check-in) and we then discovered an electric space heater had been placed in the room so obviously they were aware the HVAC didn't work. I am guessing a space heater in a hotel room is not in code. We are good with no frills, not overly particular about accommodations for an overnight. Looking for #1 Safe, #2 Clean - this location really wasn't either. We slept fine - no issues occurred but it was really sub par especially based against the ratings.

Perfect for Short Stay
We just needed a place to lay our heads for the night during Parents Weekend at WKU. The front office staff at our very late check-in was super friendly. The room smelled very clean upon arrival, and the beds were comfortable. It is an older place without a lot of amenities, but it was all we needed for a short stay.

Room smelled mushy, their was no water in pool, roaches, pillows were old and flat, beds we're stiff, was worst than hotels I stayed in third world countries. Wasn't worth a fourth of the price they charged
