Afternoon- evening traffic is horrific. Better off catching bus as its cheap and consistant. We traveled to airport in morning with not much traffic at all.

The hotel is located in Mactan Newtown. A nice area with several walkable restaurants, including an outdoor food court area Al Fresca, that has 10 to 15 restaurants. Reasonably priced.

The only negative thing about Lapu Lapu is to get a metered taxi. Hard to get. Most drivers tryed to take advantage of the tourists.
