Good hotel, And excellent location, easy to commute, although the building and amenities are old it looked clean and everything was working fine. Breakfast was very basic plain bread, cheese, ham and cereal not much to choose from but my understanding is that almost everywhere is like that unless it is a big hotel chain

Overall good.
Good location, close to shopping areas and the centre, and the starting point for your buses is near. Breakfast isn’t very good, consists only of pastries and instant coffee. The hotel kept cancelling my bookings because my card was blocking international transactions and I had to pay before checking in, which I found a bit weird considering I saw people paying for their stay after check out but I give them the benefit of the doubt. The property isn’t easily accessible for disabled people and no one offered to help with my bags which I would have appreciated.

Hotel is definitely old European style. There are no key cards. You have a real key which you leave at desk when you go out and they keep them in little cubbyholes at the desk. The location is great for walking to historic center. The price was very affordable too.

Older hotel with old world charm
If you are looking for a 5 star hotel this is not it. But after reading the reviews I knew that before we went but then stayed there we had a great time. I like the old European feel of this place. The guy at the desk was very friendly and helpful and there were 8 of us ladies mostly 65 to 72 years old and he did a lot of luggage moving for us. There is an elevator but a couple of steps to get to the floor you need after you exit the elevator made it a little harder but nothing we couldn't handle and he helped. Was just fine! there is a couple of good restaurants a couple doors down and the square is only a couple blocks away.

Sleepless Night.
The shower had not been cleaned. We spent the night being eaten by mosquitos or killing mosquitos. And until about 1:00 it was very noisy. We booked for two nights and left after one. The location was great.

Lisbon is an amazing city! This hotel is just off the main avenue. 1 min walk to a supermarket and many restaurants. 15mins walk to Chiado.

Aggressive manager
If you want to come back to school where a witch teacher screams at you and treats you terrible, hotel Dublin is your place.
The female manager increases prices with an aggressive high tone. I was there with my family and they did not want to move to another place, otherwise I would have left the hotel immediately.
The persons who welcomed us and who said good bye, where very kind and feared the "aggressive manager".

Ideal, value for money city centre hotel
Good location, clean rooms, helpful check in staff. Iffy breakfast, no hotel parking other than meters or multi story (allow €25 a day for this).
With a few quid spent on communal areas/stairs etc this could be an even better hotel.
Nice few local restaurants nearby and less than 10 mins walk to main squares and avenues.
If you're unsure about Lisbon in general, go, you won't be disappointed.

Great location, beware of smokers!
Pros:
Location, near Marques metro station
Price, which includes continental breakfast (basically toast and coffee)
Friendly staff
Cons:
Most of the employees smoke a lot and therefore you'll end up breathing that in your room at some point. Lots of cigarrette butts outside our window.

JUST TOO OLD TO CALL IT A PROPER HTEL
THIS HOTEL IS IN A GOOD LOCATIN BUT THE PROPERTY IS JUST TOO OLD FOR A HOTEL. LOOKS LIKE THEY ARE JUST ADDING NEW THINGS TO OLD PROPERTY TO MAKE I LOOK LIKE A 3 STAR ONE BUT SADLY THEY ARE MILES AWAY. OLD WOODEN FLOORING IS A NIGHTMARE IF YOU HAPPEN TO HAVE A ROOM UNDER THE DINING ROOM. CONSTANT MOVEMENT OF CHAIRS ON THE WODDEN FLOORING FROM 7.30 AM IS JUST TOO PAINFUL. ROOM SIZE IS ANOTHER JOKE. NO CHAIR TO SIT, FORGET A TABLE EVEN. JUST NO ROOM FOR IT. WHY BOTHER TO CALL IT A 3 STAR HOTEL???

affordable and comfortable stay
Stay at Residencial Dublin was perfect for a weekend getaway. Walking distance to city center and several shops near hotel.
Continental breakfast was very basic: milk, juice, coffee, cereal, bread, and jam.
Rooms and bathrooms were small but had all necessary things available. Would stay again!
