Overall, this place was accessible, easy enough to find with a parking garage BEHIND the hotel. Note this if you are driving as otherwise you will need to circle the block to get to parking. The only reason for 1 star off is that we could not get the AC to work in our room despite using translation and thus the room was constantly stuffy.

It was very central. We did not need a car or even taxi. The rooms were clean and beds made up every day.

Excellent location - easy to get from the airport to the hotel via public transit. Right next to several bus lines and the streetcar so you can easily get around. I saw way more in Hakodate than I anticipated because of the ease of grabbing public transportation. Lots of restaurants in the area too and a family mart attached for easy snacking. Very pleasant stay.

Our bedroom was so huge with tons of space. The bathroom is also spacious and very clean. It has an air conditioner and the room is very clean. The amenities are nice and they also provide amenities for the kids. They have a laundry washer and dryer in one for 600 yen. The breakfast have tons of options and very yummy where kids and adults can enjoy the food.
This hotel is also near the shopping and eating area plus near the Hakodate airport.
We will definitely come back and stay here again when we visit Hakodate!

The hotel is in a great location, only being about a 10min walk from Goryokaku Park. The staff were very nice and always helpful no matter what time of day.
There was construction going on at the time but this was communicated to us after we booked and also upon arrival, and the noise was minimal. The room was a decent size with a good sized bathroom, but the bathroom had hair on the floor and the sheets and quilt covers had stains on them when we checked into our room. There is also a Family Mart attached to the hotel which is very convenient.

There is a convenience shop on the ground floor of the hotel. It is much better to walk to Goryokaku Tower than taking piblic transport from the hotel as the tower is only a short 10-15mins walk from the hotel. Use the back entrance of the hotel which will help you cut down on the walking distance. You can also enjoy walking through the private residential areas and admire the pretty flowers along the road side and houses.
We booked 2 rooms and unfortunately one of our room toilet had a terrible stench. We did not raise this as an issue to the hotel staff since we were only there for a night's stay and were quite tired out from being out sight seeing the whole day.
Room is very small, which is very typical of a Japanese hotel room within this price range.

When I booked this hotel it said there were no cleaning service. To me this meant that which my room will not be cleaned and my bed would not be made up daily. But when I checked in the hotel told me that in addition of not cleaning my room if I wanted any other services such as extra towel I would be charged for each towel. I booked the hotel for eight nights, during this period I did not get any complimentary tea or coffeee which you get with every hotel, no refill of other amenities such as toothbrush & tooth paste. I wish the hotel have been upfront on their website & specify what was included & what was not so that consumers can nake a more informed choice.
The good thing about this hotel is that its close to Goryokaku Tower and garden. Its also close to the tram stop and there are restaurants and civenient stores near by.

Good location. Just a few minutes walk from street car stop, and a 10-min walk to Fort Goryukaku. The room was very nice and clean, with the beds/pillows quite comfortable. We had an early train to Tokyo the ff day, and the manager-in-charge kindly adjusted the breakfast opening time half an hour early so we can take a quick bite before leaving. That is superb customer service! Highly recommended and we will sure be back.

The room has spectacular view of the ocean however, the curtain is not at all a blackout so the sunlight woke us up around 5:45AM every morning. Also although it is pretty close to Goryōkaku, its distance to other landmarks, including train station, restaurants and bars is not quite walkable.
