For the price this hotel was a bargain. Bed was comfy, looked like the hotel has recently had a bit of a facelift when it comes to the hotel rooms, so did look modern and fresh. Bathroom was basic but did the job. No bath, only a shower (which might put some people off), and the water temperature did fluctuate a bit having a shower in the morning. Good Wifi (not the fastest, but it is free and did the job). No AC, but fan was supplied in the room. Luckily the weather was not too hot so was ok in the room, but I think on a really hot summers' day this could cause a problem if you struggle to sleep in warm temperatures. For some the room might be a bit on the small size, stayed in similar priced hotel nearby and the room was a lot bigger, but was not as nice looking and hotel was very dated. Room had flat TV with all the standard TV channels, and HDMI input if you want to plug in your own external device. TV did come out from the wall a bit, and due to the small room did accidentally knock it when walking round the bed. You could also hear people walking past the room very easily (shame the doors did not sound proof that a bit more).
They say you get what you pay for, but on this occasion I think it was an excellent place to be for the festival I was going to over the weekend, the price was excellent. I do plan to use this hotel again. The last thing to mention is there did not seem to be a lift to get to the first floor, so if this is a concern ask for a ground floor room.
