The Slavyanski Beseda has a terrific location in the center of Sophia and is accessible to all of the major attractions. Its reasonable price and helpful staff make it very attractive. It could use an update, is acceptable.

The hotel was ok for the price around the center of Sofia. The staff was helpful when asked questions. The only problem I had was leaving my laptop at the reception safe. Was told I can pick it up any time before 10pm. I went to get it at 9pm and the receptionist was on 5 min brake that stretched to 30min. The security guard felt bad for me and actually had to go fetch the receptionist from the nearby store. Almost missed my train because of it.
