Comfort and Relaxation
The hotel and staff allowed for relaxation and comfort. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices from American, to Japanese cuisine. I would stay there again. The location was just perfect for walking to dinner, the market, the river and to the beautiful temples and shrines. The trains were just a few minutes walk and the cab drive to the main Kyoto station was just a 5 to 10 minutes drive.

A Stay in Kyoto Gion Area.
There's no need to ask for anything. They just UPGRADE your room and GAVE 2 HOURS LATE CHECKOUT because of GOLD MEMBERSHIP of HOTEL.COM. The staff were super friendly. ONLY 1 thing that bothered me, INTERNET SPEED super slow. Had to use my own DATA. The LOCATION super great. Just next door to Takashimiya and 5 minutes to Gion.
