Beautiful property with a vintage elevator. Rooms have high ceilings, comfrotae beds and large windows. Fabulous location, minutes away from Vatican, the river, and all the restaurants in Borgo. AC and wifi work perfectly. Staff are courteous and efficient, and Mary (the property manager) is super!

I payed $790 $30 taxes for deluxe 1 bedroom with kitchen on September 2024. The owner gave me tiny room #3, without closet and no space to walk in room. When we put 2 our luggages, we block the bed and not able turn around. It was old guess house, not hotel, No kitchen in rom. It was one kitchen without microwave for 4 rooms. Building has very old elevator and you have to bring your staff one level up to the elevator. Owner of this guess house doesn't provide any shuttle to the airpot. You have to walk approximately 1 km with all your luggages to get city shuttle. It was advertising that room has city view. Through our window we saw old house in poor condition and ongoing construction project. It was total scam of. Expedia has to reconsider this property and provide correct advertisement. I was really regret to pay $810 for this room for 3 nights and will not recommend anybody to rent any room on this property room.

The property has a very quaint old lift, The room was pleasant and clean although the lack of instructions prior to arrival was concerning as there is no reception and the arrival information could have been better supplied before panic set in the day before flying. The location is great for the Vatican city and there is a great Gelato bar located right next door.

Location was great, 5 minute walk to the Vatican. Not to far from alot of the other sites. Room really clean and tide but was quite small, we really on used it for sleeping so it was okay. The property is only operated by keys, you have to turn on the light, turn on the air conditioner and even when you are inside, you have to use key to lock it. Very old lay back technology, they have only 1 elevator and barely fit 3 people in there, there is no fire escape, you are trap when there is a fire.

You can walk to the Vatican from here. Rooms are really small, it is an apparent turn into b&b type. I miss a microwave in the kitchen but I appreciate the AC unit and fridge in the room. If you are traveling with someone with mobility issues, this is not the place for you. Other than that we enjoy the place. They put crossaints every morning and coffee is available as well.

Comfy choice close to the Vatican
This was the perfect spot for our 1 night stay in Rome and visit to St. Peter's. The rooms are on the 4th floor of a building with marble stairs and a vintage elevator. The room itself had plenty of space, a nice bathroom and a comfy bed. Check in was self service, with text messages giving good instructions and door codes. We only met the host at chekout. This is a great option for the low maintenance traveler who wants to be right on the front steps of the Vatican.
