Disappointed
Location good, new and clean hotel.
The breakfast left a bad taste in our mouth.
We did not realize that when we signed up for breakfast on the first day we were also signing up for each day of our 3 night stay.
It does say that on the front desk sign but the obligation for every day was easy to not see. Further it was not clearly expressed by the front desk when we signed up for breakfast on the first day.
We did not feel the breakfast was worth what we paid. My wife and I had oatmeal which was ok but we liked honey, nuts or dried fruit or bananas and brown sugar.
None was available. The server said they were out of honey.
My wife went up to the buffet line and they were out of waffles. The server said if she waited more would be out soon.
We went to the front desk and complained. The lady said we had signed up for 3 days and could not be refunded.
I asked to see the manager who was not available. The next morning they told me the manager worked 3pm-11am.
Around 6 pm I went back to talk to the manager, who was the assistant manager who said he did not have the authority to not charge us for the 2 days we did not have breakfast. He told me only the manager had the authority and he would be in at 10 am the next morning. We left the hotel the next morning and called at 10:30 am. The manager was not in and the desk gal said she had texted him but had no idea when or if the manager was coming in.
There was no direct telephone line to the hotel.
