Sorrento is a real gem. It is busy, but very clean and sort of an oasis. There is not much of tourist sites, but very walkable and a good place from which to access the Amalfi coast. Lots of cute little streets and alleys with a small town feel.

Sorrento was a beautiful city with very friendly people who welcome tourists with open arms and love to celebrate their home with passion. We walked all over and loved the exploration of streets, shops, cafes, gardens, museums, and glorious food.

Sorrento is hilly which allows for the breathtaking views. It has something for everyone and the best seafood restaurants. It was busy in early May and will no doub be overcrowded in July and August so allow plenty of time to reach destinations.

Sorrento is a colourful place with roots of its heritage kept. Its one of the most beautiful, authentic places we've been to. It retains it's unique feel with traditional markets around the area, surrounded by pastel coloured buildings

We visited Rome, Florence , Sorrento, Postitano, Ravello and Amalfie. Sorrento was our favorite. Great location to everything. Town had lots of local shopping versus the high end stores. Great central location for all.

Sorrento has more variety of restaurants as compared to Amalfi. Easy to get around. Only turn off is the ferries being cancelled and we had to look for drivers which gave us big headache on the check-out day!

Sorrento is full of beautiful views and great dining but less congested than the Amalfi Coast or Naples. Easy access to both locations, plus Capri, Pompeii and Salerno.
"The property is beautiful and the staff are welcoming. The views are to die for from your room. The breakfast is really nice and the pool is beautiful. The jacuzzi which is part of the pool was a nice addition but could have been warmer. The rooms are a generous size and gorgeous. You have a turn down service at night and left a chocolate which was touching. I throughly recommend staying here, it was first class in every aspect. "
"The hotel was nice, clean and charming but it needs a little bit of upgrade. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The food was great. Thank you "
