This was our sixth stay at The Slate, and once again we loved the hotel and its friendly staff. A few minor points: dinner at Tin Mine was disappointing and not up to its usual standard, the gym is slightly worn and could use updates like new treadmills, and the “adults-only” pool had limited seating, with many loungers reserved by absent guests. A simple system where loungers are assigned at check-in could improve this. Overall, we were very satisfied and will definitely return.

The Slate is like a village with great greenary, smiling staff and several choices of bars and restaurants. The lobby area and breakfast rooms are really nice and contemporary designed. The balconies really pretty; the textiles and pillows. The interior design of the rooms is not my personal style at all, but it's clean, tidy and the rooms are big and everything worked well. A super-plus to staff and the food an experience of restaurant Black Ginger. Wow!!
