Not at all like the fuddy duddy image Bournemouth is famous for. On the hottest day of the year so far the beach was teaming with teenagers even at 8pm with the beach bars it even had an Ibiza vibe. Loved the bus journey to Swanage on the ferry at £4

Bournemouth is a busy town. Roundabouts everywhere. Parking is like all towns nowadays a nightmare. Bournemouth is a traditionally english seaside town. Poole merged together as each town has grown. Loads of things to do and places to eat snd shop.

Just out of consideration of the less able, it's probably worth mentioning that Bournemouth in general is quite hilly and as a result may prove difficult for some. In the summer it does get busy, but the beach is like being abroad. Great trip.

Although our stay was out of season the town was still bustling with some lovely places to spend some time. We walked through the gardens into town, experienced live music, the obscura cafe for lunch and a fab little street food kitchen.

I was really impressed by Bournemouth town as it seems to be bucking the trend of other town centres as lots of new shops, bars and restaurants have opened. There is lots to see and do and the beach is one of the best in the country.

Bournemouth itself is a little run down but you don't have to travel far for even more beautiful beaches, restaurants and historical sites. Westbourne, Branksome Chine, Christchurch, Highcliffe are all on the doorstep.

"My friend and I went from Monday -Friday. On arriving the staff were lovely however got to the room and it was dark. My friend and I said if they had arranged the bedroom differently it wouldn’t have felt so dark. The heater in the bathroom was so dangerous. Also the whole hotel needed some TLC.
But the staff made up for the rest of it every member of staff was lovely. "
