Affordable and cheerful, simple but nice, a convenient option for fast travellers who just need a bed to rest and keep going. A bit annoying that I booked an individual room (instead of a shared one) and had to still share toilet and shower separately.. it was not clear at the time of booking. Was not stated in the Expedia booking either, so had to put up with that. So if you're booking here mind that can be your case too.. on the other hand really well placed right outside Anvers tube and 8 minutes away from Gard du Nord. So very convenient connection wise.

Positives: the staff - though not necessarily warm - are very comprehensive and helpful, and speak excellent english. I stayed in a single room with shared bathroom and the room was very clean and pleasantly decorated. And the location is great, walking distance to transport and Pigalle nightlife, yet felt safe. Negatives: the shared toilet was not conveniently located, walking downstairs to a different level isn't pleasant. The hostel is very busy and the noise at night (even on a sunday) made it hard to get much sleep. Notably the sound of the elevator seemed to be constant!

Excellent I would stay again. It's a reasonable price for staying in a clean basic hotel / hostel. It's a couple of mins walk from sacre Coeur and the station. All amenities in walking distance. Staff were great, there is a small kitchen if you want to heat food up, baggage room. Our double room was a reasonable size with shower room and street view. Quiet at night and you can open the windows for air.
