Room was nice enough and warm. Last time I stopped in that room it stunk of damp.. it was alot better this time. As a positive they actually remembered to give me my free wine. Breakfast is spot on!!! Staff are lovely.

Hotel is situated in lovely grounds and looks very impressive on the drive up. Room felt like it could do with a bit of updating but was clean enough and comfortable. Bar area and restaurant were also excellent with friendly staff. Wouls stay again

The room was nice enough apart from the smell of damp and dog urine... if your being a dog friendly hotel please clean the rooms properly. The staff are nice and friendly.. breakfast staff are great!

The room I stayed in was basic but clean. No socket near bed which was annoying. Children shouting and roaring in other rooms until 11 pm. Generally very noisy. Only a skeleton staff on duty, bar staff were also restaurant staff so had to wait for service at bar whilst customers were served in restaurant. Staff on duty were very nice and helpful. All in all a disappointing stay for the price

Nice stay. Good price & comfortable rooms. Had a wedding on but as this takes place in external buildings there was little-no disturbance. It’s an older property so some fixtures a little tired & no tea & coffee in rooms. Modern bar area makes up for it. Bar closes to last orders around 11pm

Disappointed stay in Sheffield
Nice building in beautiful grounds , so perfect for weddings. However the standard rooms are very tired, worn and dirty. Horrible bathroom with poor flushing toilet. Hotel states for environmental reasons theres no housekeeping, to call for towels etc.!! So no wonder the rooms/corridors look so shabby/dirty. Opt for deluxe rooms in the main building which look better, but these are on upper floors and there's no lift.
