I came down to attend the Des Moines Arts Festival which was a wonderful experience! I enjoyed going to an Iowa Cubs game and the farmers market. Had an excellent dinner at RoCa and yummy breakfast at the Breakfast Club.

Des Moines was a great place to get away with my kid for a couple days. We found lots to eat, and places to play, easy to get around the area. Try the Science Center

Take a tour of the state capitol building if you can, it was well worth the price (free), it was the one highlight of our short stay in the city.

I've been going to the fair for over 35 years. We've always parked at the fair grounds or near it. This year we tried the shuttle from the state capital. The experience was great and will continue to use it in the future.

Blank park zoo was far from worth the cost of admission, wish we would've gone to Omaha zoo again instead.
"Needed a quiet room for one night. The hotel is older and the hallways show some age. But our room was very nice and clean. The beds are comfortable and the room was quiet. The breakfast had a nice variety of choices. "
"The stay was nice and quiet ..it worked for us because the airport is so close and we were flying out the next morning ..the 4am breakfast was great....Also my King size bed was very comfortable we loved it..I would recommend the stay to everyone ,also their enclosed pool area excellent 👍

"BEAUTIFUL property. Would definitely stay here again. Enjoyed a visit to the bar -service was excellent. Property is walkable to entertainment and dining options. The ONLY complaint is that the large blue LED light on the beer/wine fridge is SO BRIGHT that it's distracting at bedtime. I covered the darn thing with two towels and the light still bled through. "
"I chose quality inn because the price was very reasonable. I find it hard to sleep in hotels but quality inn made me feel at home. I rested, enjoyed breakfast and went back on the road. Thanks to all the staff at quality inn for making my stay a 5 star stay. "
"A older property but clean and comfortable. I like the free breakfast in the morning. Above average compared to hotel at the same level. Staff was friendly. The hotel is in a great location to downtown Des Moines."
