Bedding was dirty. When I called to ask for a new room, I was informed that they don’t wash the comforters after every stay. They apparently don’t wash the pillow cases either because they smelled like BO.

The shower head was facing somewhat towards the wall. So you had to stand next to wall to shower.. toilet doesn’t flush good. Had to hold handle down the whole time for it to flush

2/10 Poor

Horrible staff / horrible condition
The hotel appeared to be on its last leg. It appears there had been no capital investment into improvement since the 1970’s. I asked the front desk to fix the shower head because it was in a condition where it took forever to get wet and rinse off my hair. I came back that night and it looked like someone just hit it with a hammer to fix it. But it made twice as bad. I ended up checking out the next morning and rented from another hotel.

This is a basic hotel with a mediocre breakfast dated rooms, good enough for an overnight day, but I wouldn’t want to spend more than 8 to 10 hours here. The pool area is nice for children

This is a pet friendly hotel which we liked even though we left the pets at home this time. There was a dog barking in the hotel for a while but it wasn't as loud as the baby crying. Didn't keep me up but something to consider when you visit pet friendly places I guess. The staff was incredibly friendly. The breakfast was very good. And no complaints about the hotel room. Very comfy bed! Would definitely stay again.

The staff was friendly but the hotel is a bit short staffed. I did not get any hand soap in the bathroom sink and the arrangement in the bathroom does not have any counter space for make-up or toiletry supplies.

Our room was filthy. The vent in the bathroom looked like it had never been cleaned, I wiped it down myself. No plug in the sink, you could see mold and sediment. If my wife dropped her ring or anything in the sink it would have gone down the drain. Pubic hair/other hair all over the bathtub. High ceilings in the rooms, so every corner on the ceiling have spiderwebs and are just dirty. But each corner of the room on the floor was dirty too, that should not be missed. This is basic cleaning that can't be missed, we saw it and we weren't even looking. If this room would have been clean my review would have been all good. No one wants to sleep in a dirty room no matter how good the rest of the hotel might be. Thank you.

Hotel itself was decent and rooms were clean. The gentleman was less than welcoming and acted like we interrupted his night by checking in. The other night staff was put out when I asked for change to break a larger bill for the vending machine. At check out the front desk clerk was pulling hair of her clothes and telling me it was her partners - seriously people!

Need’s maintenance
The hotel is older and it reflects in the maintenance. The animal policy makes the rooms smell like animals. I have dogs but my room had a smell and I itched. Sheets and towels clean but I don’t believe my room was vacuumed and the hall was really dirty. The lobby is clean and staff very nice. I stay around 30-40 nights a year in hotels.

We did not reserve a handicapped room and ended up receiving one. Also, the pillows were super small so I suggest bringing your own pillows. With that being said, the bed was rather comfortable.

They only clean rooms every other day. Not an issue for me usually but some might care. The property is well maintained and quiet and close to restaurants, shopping and the highway.

Breakfast needs help
The hotel was clean and the staff was really friendly and nice. But the breakfast needs some major work. They ran out of everything and no one was there to re-stock. They had no coffee either. The eggs, sausage and potatoes were all gone but no one was there to put more out. And the milk was gone so you couldn’t have cereal either. This was at 8am so it’s not like it was close to breakfast ending either.

I paid a lot of money to stay here for one night and the tv was tiny. I’m sure they could afford more than a tiny 30 inch tv. Also it was very dim in the room. I put all the lights on and it was still dark in there. The rooms need to be remodeled because it looks dated. The front desk is newer but the rooms need a refresh. It was clean and did not have any musty smells. I would stay there again but the rates are outrageous for the weekend.
