HVAC surprise

We were surprised that the Hotel did not have AIrConditioning in the rooms. As the name suggests it is located on the waterfront and the rooms were quite warm for spring and i would think by summer it would be very uncomfortable to stay in them.

Power cut symptoms?

The comfort rating was poor because the room was only 62F and the heating controls were inoperative. Staff were very prompt in bring us a space heater. Fix was good.

Waterslide was a Big Hit!

This hotel was perfect for our purposes. We live 5 hours from our grandchildren, so we look for places that we can host get-togethers for visits. The 1-bedroom suite had a huge living room with dining room, large bathroom and large separate bedroom. This was great for hosting our families without having them in our bedroom! Also, the waterslide was a big hit with the kids! There are things that need some attention, the pinball machine is broken, the pool cues have no tips left on them and a broken triangle, there are huge holes in the parking lot, etc.. The hotel is old and out of date (could use some refreshing) but still comfortable. We would recommend, especially for those travelling with older children.

I chose this hotel aa the view is amazing but....... 1. You can hear the slightest noise from other rooms. 2.bathroom door frames were brown as in not clean 3. There was a condom wrapper on the side of the couch 4. breakfast was decent 5. Mattress was decent Never staying here again drspite beaitiful view!
