As I've mentioned in previous reviews, this small hotel has truly become my home away from home. Let me start by saying that Days Inn is not a four-star, full-service hotel, and you’re not paying $400 a night. Guests with those expectations should look elsewhere. However, you get a good deal for what you pay at Days Inn.
First, the entire property is impeccably clean—the lobby, staircases, and especially the rooms. The sheets and towels are soft and fresh without that overpowering bleach smell. Yes, the furniture may have seen better days, but who cares when everything works perfectly? You’ll find a comfortable bed, a desk, and a small table with chairs. The bathroom has all the essentials, nothing fancy but functional. The complimentary breakfast every day does not hurt either.
The standout feature of this hotel, though, is the staff. They go above and beyond. There’s always someone ready to help with suitcases, even when it’s not in their job description. The housekeepers recognize returning guests and consistently deliver everything I need, even keeping track of my Amazon deliveries! The internet? It’s rock solid—better than some of the much pricier hotels near SFO I’ve stayed in occasionally.
I’ve chosen Days Inn for extended stays over the past few years and will continue to do so. Not only are the prices far more reasonable than those greedy Airbnb rentals, but you’re also treated like a guest, not an investment.
