Safe and clean place to stay
Stayed here for one night for medical appointment. Valet parking is $15/night vs $10 to self park. Room was fine. This property hosts meetings and conventions, so large groups come and go, and at times overtake the bar and restaurant.

1 night stay before a cruise
In the main room there was mold on some walls, base boards and carpet. In the bathroom sink the pull for the drain was broken with just a screw sticking up. The women's room was totally disgusting. Toilet paper all over the floors in the stalls and some outside the stalls. Housekeeping seemed they didn't check to make sure is was clean. Reported it to the front desk and a hour later still was a horrid mess. Hotel could really use some updates.

Good choice
We needed a one-night stay before catching a flight out of Miami and this was a very comfortable choice. The restaurant had a diverse menu and the food was good. We paid the extra to include the breakfast and it was surprisingly good. The airport shuttle accommodated the four of us, including my friend who was traveling with a wheelchair.

disappointment with the hotel’s security and staff
I stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Convention Center in Miami for four nights, . Unfortunately, my experience was ruined due to the loss of my device. After checking out, I realized I left my device in the room. The next day, I returned, and security escorted me to the room, which had already been cleaned but hadn’t been assigned to a new guest. My device was nowhere to be found. I used “Find My,” which confirmed its last location was at the hotel. I informed the staff, but they said it wasn’t in the room or “Lost and Found.” Since no guest had checked in after me, I can only conclude that staff, likely the cleaning team, accessed my device. I’m a loyal Hilton member, and I expected better from a brand like this. Losing a $ device is bad enough, but the hotel’s indifference and lack of responsibility were even worse. I no longer feel safe or confident staying at Hilton properties. Guests deserve security and accountability, especially at a hotel in this price range. I urge anyone staying here to be extra careful with their belongings. Hilton needs to do better to ensure guest trust and safety.
