Average hotel, better values in the area. It's a business hotel. We stayed one night to be near SFO for an international flight in the AM. It was a lot better back in the days it was owned by Sofitel. It is no longer upscale. The grounds are very nice, especially along the man-made lake. Half of the rooms face the lake. Ask for lake view. What I really disliked was that they put us in me an accessible room, I did not book nor did they inform me at check in? The restaurant is hit or miss, it was busy when we were there. I ordered a burger and fries, which was the worst I've ever had with cold dried out fries, I should have known better. There is a Shake Shack down the road for 1/3 the price. My SO ordered chicken Picatta which was very good. The restaurant service is good. The bar looked really poppin'. If you like bar scenes, this is definitely a good one. The restaurant water tastes terrible, showers are weak. Overall the Room was clean, plenty of power for devices, no bed bugs, but behind the headboard it was absolutely filthy. The bed at least for me was not comfortable and the pillows were sky high and too firm for me. I rolled up a towel and used it as pillow. The comforter did not breath. It traps all your heat and you end up sweating even if you turn the A/C way down. In summary, I would not stay here again for the price, its not a value. There are likely better values in the surrounding area if you are staying like we did to go to SFO the next day.
