Weekend Getaway
This was a little girls trip to see a band we loved in Raleigh. The hotel was clean and offered such helpful things like toothbrush and toothpaste, which we accidentally forgot. The room was clean, the only thing I would complain about was the firmer mattresses on the bed, other than that the stay was nice!

DISGUSTING
The rooms smell, disgusting, like mold on a whole different level. There were cockroaches in our room. The carpet is disgusting. Our socks were black within minutes of walking around the room. Front desk doesn’t allow people to stay that live in the area, even for overnight dates. It’s ridiculous. I would never ever stay at this hotel again.

Good for a Quick Stat
We picked this hotel last minute based on reviews. Overall it was good for the price. Safe and super convenient location. Beds were comfortable. Things that affected my rating were: - floors of elevator were nasty and sticky for the two days we were there - room had huge tv but not a smart tv so only got a few local stations - ice machines on every floor were broken so you had to go to main lobby area to find ice - breakfast had short hours and was your typical hotel food - pool looked very green although we were there in the fall so probably no one was using it

Perfect
We just stayed for 1 night but it was so perfect. It was so clean and comfortable. The tv is the biggest I've ever had in a room (we're big tv watchers). And the lights over the bed to read by were fantastic. I'm also a reader and he is not. I would definitely stay again and wished I could stay longer.

Pleasant stay for 24 hours...
The hotel was clean, however, when we arrived there was a weird smell in the lobby. It did go away once we went to our room. We chose this hotel because we are in town for literally 24 hours for a wedding and then turning around and heading right back to Virginia. For the price and location, it was okay for that short a stay. Normally, I would never use a Choice Hotel but...it was cost effective for the time, and it served its purpose. There was a drawer in the room that would not stay shut. My son and I left to see some of downtown Raleigh and came back to the maintenance person in our room. It was a little creepy but...we remembered to lock the door and keep it locked. I am also licensed to carry so, that was my extra safeguard. I have to say the breakfast was awesome. Fresh waffles, eggs and bacon and a good variety of cereals and toasts. There was coffee and some pretty good juice. The Wi-Fi was good, and my son was able to work remotely while at breakfast. Overall, it was a good stay for the price! It definitely served its purpose.

Room 208 was not ready for a guest stay I will attach photos The toilet seat lid was not the right size and it was broken at the hinge. There was a small brown roach that ran under the soap dish in the morning. One of the mirrors was missing on the bathroom wall. There was a smear of something that looked like blood on the doorway molding ( inside on the left ) I made the front desk attendant aware of my issues with the room. She offered no apology and thanked me for making her aware so that she could inform maintenance staff. UNACCEPTABLE !!!!!!!
