Only get a new room
I went in knowing the hotel is under renovation, but expected the not-yet-renovated rooms to be in better condition than they were. If there is a chance you might get an old room, don't stay here. My kids wouldn't even shower here they were grossed out. Stains on walls, carpets really dirty, lamps with only one working bulb- bad, a mini fridge from the 90s, and a dead roach on the floor (1st floor room). The website pictures made the old rooms look in way better condition. The pool area is great however, and it's nice they have extended pool hours for after park swimming! The front desk was very nice, and I appreciated they only charged me for breakfast and my 5 and 7 year old were free. Breakfast was pretty typical and convenient. Once the rooms are all done this hotel will be WAY BETTER to stay at, just be sure to know what kind of room you are getting. I wish I would have known this when we checked in, or somehow been able to ensure a new room, otherwise I would not have stayed here.

I enjoyed it!
The king room was nice and spacious. Everything was relatively clean and there were signs of aging and rust in the room, but the hotel lets you know with several signs that they are undergoing renovations lol. The pool area was great and I like the option for laundry for someone staying for longer, even though mine was not. Good hotel stay and even better for the price

Poor condition of hotel and renovations left me un
There was a sign at the entrance stating as of May 2024, they were under new management and would be renovating. Even though the front desk staff were pleasant, the one clerk totally ignored me at arrival. Both Saturday and Sunday was awaken by construction noise before 9am. Elevator near my room broke down on Saturday morning. Pool looked nice so if they get their act together it might be a decent hotel. Right next to I-4 but sound only bothered me Saturday night when the hot rods were out racing their engines.

Hotel needs a major makeover
I did not have high expectations based on the room rate. However, I could tell that the hotel was going to be rundown based on the condition of the lobby, which was dirty. From the outside, I will say that the hotel looks appealing in the pool area was reasonably nice. The room was a different story. The carpet was old and torn in one spot. The wall trim in the bathroom was rotted at the bottom. It was apparent that the bathroom tile was laid over the old floor and it looked pretty ugly. Overall, just happy to not have to sleep there again.

Decent price and decent quality stay.
When we checked in and got to our room everything looked fine. When we got to the room and checked it out there were stains on the furniture. Now with that being said the main desk said that they were under new management and starting renovations. So most things were minor and they didn’t effect our stay.

If you only need a place to sleep.
I stayed here for five nights. There was a sign stating that new management took over roughly six months ago, so I assumed things wouldn't be perfect. I stood in the lobby waiting to be acknowledged for 5-10 minutes. I'm literally the only person there besides three staff members behind the counter. Finally, one said it would be just a minute after sitting there ignoring me for five. breakfast isn't included-I knew this ahead of time. However, there was no free tea/coffee in the lobby. I was planning to get a coffee before heading out for the day during my stay. I didn't use the pool. It was too cold outside. The room is poorly organized. One nightstand had everything needed and the other had nothing. No lamp, phone, plug-in, etc. The microwave was plugged into a burnt outlet. Microwave leaned forward. The first sink had little to no water coming out of the faucet. The sink in the bathroom had a leaking faucet. My final thoughts. This is a hotel that provides the basics. A place to sleep. If you are looking for more than that, look somewhere else.
