Museum of Us highlights
Formerly known as the Museum of Man, the Museum of Us is located in Balboa Park, which also carries the heritage of the Kumeyaay people. The museum employs modern devices, such as films and live seminars, to inspire and connect people, and provide a unique perspective on the human experience.
The museum hosts both permanent and temporary rotating exhibits that explore topics ranging from animals to race to beer, and so much more. Kids will love the interactive "Monsters!" exhibit, which isn't scary but instead covers mythical and magical creatures, such as unicorns and werewolves.
