The huge range of nightlife at Disney World Florida keeps the vast resort buzzing every night of the week. Just because the theme parks close after the sun goes down doesn’t mean the fun has to stop! Orlando’s Disney World presents literally hundreds of things to do at night, from checking out live theatre performances to watching free parades light up the streets and stunning firework and pyrotechnic displays.
There's also a long list of bars, pubs and clubs which offer more adult-friendly entertainment, although the vast majority of venues let the kids in too (this is Disney World after all). These include some world-class restaurants, massive live music venues and spirited taverns where the crowd often break out into mass sing-alongs as the night draws to an end (and the kids are already tucked up in bed).

The Disney Enchantment fireworks show takes place each night in the Main Street USA portion of Disney’s Magic Kingdom. The fireworks show first debuted as a part of the theme park's 50th anniversary. The 15-minute show features fireworks over Cinderella Castle, set to a mixture of both recognisable and reimagined Disney songs.
Do note that the fireworks show kicks off around 9.20 pm most of the year. However, Disney has been known to adjust the time as the sunset changes seasonally. If you're visiting during the fall or winter, you may find that the show starts a little earlier.

The menu includes plenty of Star Wars-inspired libations, like the Jedi Mind Trick (vodka, curaçao and various fruit juices) and colourful mocktails for the kids. Beer, cider and wine are also on offer, but Oga’s Cantina’s food options are limited to light snacks.

It’s best to check their schedule before coming as they often host big-name acts in their main standing room.
If you’re not in the mood for rocking out all night, grab a seat at the back or next to the bar and enjoy the substantial range of food and drinks HOBs is also well-known for. Find it at the ‘Disney Springs’ area of the park in Downtown Disney.

Jellyrolls
- Nightlife
For a raucous night of live entertainment – minus the kids – there’s no better place at Disney than the much-loved Jellyrolls, situated at Disney’s BoardWalk. Two pianists take to the stage every night to battle it out with classical takes on all popular hit songs, as well as requests from the crowd. Audience participation is encouraged too, with sing-alongs and even audience members being invited to swap seats with the pianists. There's a cover charge, but think of Jellyolls as more of a live show (this is Disney after all) and you won’t leave disappointed.

Player 1 Video Game Bar

- Nightlife
Player 1 Video Game Bar is not actually part of the Disney franchise, but it’s very close by, located just outside the resort, off International Drive. The clue with this bar really is in the name: expect video games, plenty of beer and a decent soundtrack to keep the atmosphere cool and trendy rather than geeky and stale. The lineup of consoles is more than comprehensive; they have a PS4, Xbox One, Wii, first-person shooters, gaming PCs and a host of puzzle and family games.

The Boathouse at Disney
Find both fun and fine dining in one spot
- Couples
- Food
The Boathouse is the place to go if you find the atmosphere at other Disney restaurants is a bit too theme-reliant for your taste. While there's definitely a theme here, it's upscale and not at all overwhelming.
The waterfront restaurant offers an elevated menu that changes up every day, with lots of fresh seafood options and high-end plates that are sure to appeal to a more adult palate. While The Boathouse is serious about its cuisine, it’s not overly rigid in atmosphere. In true Disney fashion, you can find a little fun here – the restaurant organises 25-minute tours on vintage Amphicars.
