Estuvimos en el 2019 y ahora Noviembre 2024. Desayuno y almuerzo son muy repetitivos y poca variedad, no vimos mariscos incluyendo los básicos como camarones y mejillones. Solo en los restaurantes a la carta encontramos Camarones como mariscos. Restaurante a la carta la comida fue servida tibia. El snack al lado del río lento es muy bueno y su personal muy atento. Los postres fueron buenos en su gran mayoría. Instalaciones tuvieron super bien, nos tocó una habitación céntrica a todo. El hotel es bueno para ir en familia. El equipo de animación es bueno y no son invasivos como otros hoteles. En resumen: instalaciónes 9/10; comida 8/10; personal 10/10

My family and I had a great time. Pros: We loved our room it was spacious, modern and comfortable. The lazy river, was definitely a favorite. We spent hours in there having a blast. There is a nightly show at 9:30, which we never missed and enjoyed. The Japanese restaurant was great, the food tasted amazing! Desert at the buffet like restaurant was always a hit. There’s a cute little cafe, with pastries and tasty coffee. Great ambience, to relax and enjoy a drink. We also made a few furry friends! My son absolutely loved all the cute friendly kitties and the one puppy that launch around the property… Cons: The food could use some improvement. There was a decent variety, however at times the food was cold. Over all I’ve had better, food wise. At times the service wasn’t the best at the buffet, the waiters would take long to bring drinks and clean up tables… Over all we had a great experience, in our opinion the pros outweigh the cons. And we’d love to return in the near future…

over all, are good. But need to improve the room maintenance. The wall is torn and I encounter the water leak serious from the celing to the wall. My room floor is watering. But the staff help me quickly change the other room. Very friend and helpful. All the show is excellent and entertained. I give it over all 41/2 Star.

My husband and I wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary and after watching so many different videos we went with Ocean el Faro and it did not disappoint, from the very beginning even before stepping foot in the resort I was contacted by the guest experience specialist Carlos Carter who was of great help with my first reservations and very attentive after we arrived making sure we had the best experience and we did the food delicious the service was excellent our waiter in the buffet Gabriel was so professional and nice our housekeeper was the best Yahaira she made our room looked so amazing and very clean every day overall we had a great time we had so much fun very much recommend!

The staff was great, The chiefs were phenomenal. The drinks at the bar were amazing The bartender Luis in the lobby was a sweetheart … chief Carlos at villa marina and the staff there omg they surprised me with a birthday cake plus the food and music was so nice. Carlos Carter At guest Concierge Online was so helpful booking restaurants every night. I loved everything about my stay. This was my first solo trip but I never felt alone at all. My husband and I had a great experience here this last week. Carlos our guest specialist helped us get in the steak house. That was nice since it was hard to get in on our own. We really enjoyed the steak house best restaurant there. The resort is 45 minutes out of town so be prepared with flights and excursions. We had the swim up room building 9 across from one of the swim up bars. We loved that since we were served in our own pool to enjoy it more. Free room service was another highlight to enjoy our pool for long periods of time. The piano bar serves the best drinks. We didn’t care for getting pressured to upgrade our experience constantly while there, it did get annoying. The entertainment in the evenings was fun and different every night. We loved the coffee shop!! Bowling was included and fun, wish the games were also free. They had a market one night and one of the venders was very pushy we didn’t appreciate that and had to walk far around him to avoid him. Staff are all friendly and welcoming. Beach has security and we felt safe even with the venders selling items. Nice beach walk from the resort. Cleaning ladies work hard and came back in the evenings to ensure we had clean towels. The AC in the rooms working amazing! Overall great experience!
