I’ll definitely book here again!
Loved the area. Safe and well lit. Easy walk to the subway and the Port Authority bus terminal. Times Square and Broadway shows easily accessible on foot. I had a corner accessible room which was larger than I expected. The hotel has a lovely cafe for coffee and pastries to go. A rooftop deck. And a live piano bar/theatre.

felt more like budget hotel than somewhere pricey
our room had quite a bit of damage when we first arrived. the desk had burn marks from a hair tool, the electrical wires for the shades were exposed, the tv remote did not work. there were marks all over the walls and ceiling. the bathroom lights were inconsistent. ironing board, but no iron.

Yotel has been a consistently good place to stay affordably in NYC. The rooms are well appointed and very nicely styled. Self check-in always goes smoothly. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. My third stay this year.

Tired, needs a refresh
I’ve loved this hotel in the past. Good price, small room, really comfortable bed. These features are still true but the property needs a refresh. It is seriously tired and feels untended. The socket panel in my room was dislodged from the wall, the “holes” where ice machines used to be are ugly and no explanation is given where one can find ice. I’m not a fan of coconut-smelling amenities but others may like it.
