The perfect friends holiday
We loved our time at NYX! The rooms are small but spacious enough with all the things we needed, the balcony was lovely with a view of the sea. All of the staff are so friendly! We didn’t have a bad meal, the food was great and a good selection too. I’ve never been to an all inclusive with an al a carte restaurant available everyday. We loved spending time at The Deck restaurant. The drinks are fab too, they’ll make any cocktail you ask for. We also enjoyed the activities we took part in. There is a bus stop just outside the hotels and taxis are easy to get too. I honestly don’t have a bad thing to say!

We really enjoyed our stay… amazing view of the ocean, beach was steps away, food was delicious. We could’ve done without the attempted vacations stay sales pitch when we exited the breakfast restaurant. Overall, really liked this place and would stay here again.

Hotel located good area. Room was spacious. Bath room door was stuck and couldn't open suddenly ,middle of night. Room light couldn't turn on suddenly. Restaurant umami was excellent. Restaurant Deck service and breakfast service was disappointed. There are limited food availabilities in mune for all inclusive.

The over all stay was nice, the staff were very friendly and attentive! The breakfast was really good, the lady who made the eggs, did a great job! The Italian and sushi restaurant had some tasty food but the buffet and lunch was only ok! The beach was lovely and was kept free from seaweed except for Sunday, which you are charged an extra $16 for environmental tax which the lady says cleans the beach! This extra charge was not mentioned on Hotels.com, it says all taxes are included! They bumped us up to a junior suit with a sea view, however they tried to charge us €50 to start and we refused! The room had no elevator as and was on the 4th floor. The room itself was very spacious, and the bed was very comfy, but it was Very out dated compared to the room we stayed in the last trip! The shower was also VERY dated! The AC was very noisy and they didnt change the bed sheets even though we had split something on them! The coffee machine was not great in the room and They also didn’t refill the coffee or give us clean cups every day. Two doors down there is an abandoned hotel that really is an eye sore on the beach.

We enjoy staying at the Nyx, 3rd time staying there but it also was the 3rd time with the elevator in our building didn’t work (it did work on the 1st day, then nothing for the remaining 7 days). The only other thing that we really find fault with is the music being played by the pool all day. It’s too loud. We don’t sit by the pool ever because of the noise, we enjoyed the beach&. The food has actually improved since our last visit in the beach restaurant & was really good, as always Chianti was a highlight for both service & food ( I can’t recall the ladies name who looked after us for both visits at Chianti this trip). Breakfast is a bit of an issue with line ups to get in especially during the storm. The staff did an amazing job during tropical storm. Helene. Ignacio & Daniel & Freddy stood out as well as the young man from Chianti who worked at the beach restaurant 1 night (name started with S I think). Would recommend Nyx but next time we might look at somewhere different to stay just because of the noise factor.

I have never left a bad review before, but this "all inclusive" resort should be torn down. The only elevator in our building was broke down the entire time. Between all of the stairs to and from our room plus the stairs to the pool and even more to the beach in hot humid weather was a bit much. Our room that we paid for was a "superior suite"but in actuality was a half way average room with a sliding glass door to the accessible balcony with the lock tore out.The shower water smelled like diluted sewage, which made the room smell as well. The paint was chipping and peeling and there are cracks everywhere. The only positives are the waitstaff and view. The Chianti resturant was great as well. Thank you NYX for advertising 2 pools when you only have one and as for being all inclusive that really isnt true either. This was our wedding anniversary trip.....will definitely NEVER stay here again

My husband and I booked this trip for my birthday! This hotel is excellent, beautiful, the staff is amazing and friendly. All the staff starting with Elvia from reception who went above and beyond to make us feel special and prepared a little birthday gift for me in our room. The butler who helped us with directions. The food was so delicious. This hotel to me is a 5 Stars or more hotel. The property is clean and absolutely gorgeous. Our oceanfront room was beautiful. The entire property is very clean! WE will definitely go back and booked this hotel again. I love everything about NYX Cancun❤️

Very European style small hotel. Felt like in Greece. Lots of stairs, but alowes you to eat more 😁. Unbelievable dining option. All inclusive, but A La Carte deliccious meals, plus small addition buffet with s quality food. Not like at bigger hotels. Food great quality, varieties and great beach menu options. Staff extremely nice, making sure your stay is exceptional. Thre is some construction, but making the hotel even better.

I loved everything about this property…it did not disappoint. Juan Jose is an excellent bartender in the lobby bar. Douglas is a Canadian who set up our cabanas on the beach and works in the Deck bar. All of the staff were excellent at helping us with whatever we needed. Can’t wait to go back!

Great hotel. Room, staff, food options within the hotel, etc. were all great. Only main issue was the need to walk a bit to other places, like the Isla Mall area (8-10 minute walk can get annoying after a day or two). Otherwise, fantastic location, friendly staff and a great experience.
