You get what you pay for.
You get what you pay for. Basic room, worn out bed, thin walls, etc. The full spa experience is offered at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort (for a higher price). Everyone else has to use the public hot spring pool (run by the resort). Harrison Hot Springs is small, so you're close to many restaurants and a little shopping no matter where you stay.

Amazing Location
Hotel is within walking distance to the lake & restaurants. It has a nice view of the mountain on the back as well. In the morning, you could enjoy coffee on the balcony. No breakfast in the motel but the burger restaurant downstairs offers good breakfast. Parking is super easy to find.
My only concern is some of the bathroom tiles were broken and not fixed. We accidentally kicked it on the way in & out and also making it hard to close the door of because they would pop out.

The motel was located in a fabulous position - right on the lake front. There was a car park right by the rooms which was $5 per night. Our room was on the first floor and found only be reached by external steps as there was no lift. This was difficult with heavy suitcases but a member of staff kindly helped us. The room was spacious with reasonable storage facilities and was very clean. The bathroom was a little dated but clean and the shower was hot and powerful. The was a fridge, kettle and microwave in the room. Toiletries weren't that good - basic sachets of shampoo/conditioner and small soap bars rather than shower gel. Check out was easy. I highly recommend this motel if you are on a budget. I would definitely stay there again.

My mom and I planned a hiking trip for this past weekend (Oct 2024) away and this was a perfect option for us to stay! It was clean, the staff was friendly, it is right on the lake plus two great restaurants just underneath. We knew when we booked that it did not actually have a spa, but it is a very short walk to both then public hot spring pool and the natural hot springs. Also, if you do want an spa experience it is right beside the Harrison Resort. We loved our stay and will definitely stay here again!

The exterior of the building was in rough shape. Check in time strictly enforced. Beds were comfortable and the room was in better shape than the exterior. One of the bedside lamps the switch is broken so unable to use..

I have been staying at the Spa Motel for many years and it is always excellent value! The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The staff in the lobby was super friendly and helpful and even brought a bag of ice to my room.
They suggested I try the Base Camp restaurant attached to the motel and I must say the breakfast was excellent and really good coffee, friendly staff here as well.

Walls are paper thin, so if there is noise outside or someone above you walking around, you aren’t going to get much sleep. Bring your earplugs. Otherwise it was a good place to sleep and the staff were very friendly.
