Okay …
No hot water. Just warm. Don’t eat here. Obvious whoever makes the food doesn’t love their job. We had nachos. A total train wreck. My husband ate breakfast and no wow factor there. The reception people were very nice but the folks running food were not. Very unfriendly

If you are looking for a chain hotel with room space and not tech savvy this is not the place for you. It was entirely too small. The self check in was a waste of time with th staff chiming in every minute. It took longer checking in with the computer than it would with an actual huming being,The security was slighlty aggressive as we entered asking us were we here to check in. We had our bags in hand. We were constanly told that check out was at 11 after we had to get another key. However the hotel was clean and smelled amazing. It had plenty of work space for everyone and we were able to spread out comfortably

This was my first time staying at Citizen M and it will not be the last as they have locations around the world. It is modern, very cozy, and fits like a glove. Every item they advertise- they deliver. It is less than a 5 min walk to the metro. I loved that you can control the exact lighting and mood from the app. Perfect for solo travelers. Great welcoming staff. The windows are soundproof and the blackout blinds were a bonus…all at a touch on your screen or on the wall panel. Don’t let the photos of the bed fool you as bring 5’8, it was an XL king with down comforters and pillows…seriously did not want to leave this cozy room if not for fomo of DC itinerary lol.
