Room was extremely dirty and to pay for a "resort", you expect amenities promoted to be available. No towels for the pool as highlighted. No utensils and no clean bathing towels. Had to wait until 3pm to get towels that were asked for at 8am. The hotel had ample vacancies, so it was not due to being a full house, which would be understandable. When I adviaed that the bathroom sink and cabinet were not secured to the wall or each other, maintenance man did come promptly. He was very nice.
Been coming to this place since I was 6yrs old, when it was Beachmark. Now at 46, I bring my parents and my daughter, a family tradition, we even have our personal favorite room. It is sad to say, that it may be time to end this tradition and that hurts to say, because we really loved this place. Since the change on ownership, it only seems like they want to market a fancy resort and recover their money in the upgrades and paint. No pride in the quality of the patrons stay.
