I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a great experience. The location is great, about a 15 minute walk to the White House and conveniently close to many of the major monuments, which made getting around the city easy and enjoyable.
The room itself was clean and well-maintained, and the staff throughout the hotel were consistently polite and welcoming. That said, the beds were a bit of a letdown. As someone who travels frequently, I’ve experienced much more comfortable accommodations, so that was noticeable.
The breakfast buffet offered a variety of options; however, given the room rate, the pricing felt excessive, especially with the additional 18% service charge. If we stayed again, we would definitely choose to find breakfast elsewhere.
Overall, the hotel delivers where it matters most with its excellent location, cleanliness, and friendly staff. With a few improvements particularly the beds and breakfast value, it could easily be a top tier stay in Washington, D.C.
