Clean and friendly
Family had a nice stay for one night. Clean and friendly with a very nice pool. Food in the restaurant is average but fine for a night or two.

Good for families with kids or a stopover
The beach nearby is beautiful, but not really a swimming beach. We enjoyed late afternoon beach walks and the birds in the area. The hotel is a bit retro, but staff were friendly, and the room was quite spacious. This is more of a family resort - lots of kids running around everywhere. Pool has a slide and there is a games area.

We wanted to stay longer we were so comfortable. The view from our room was lovely. Dinner was excellent and Clive wanted an Irish coffee-no problem. The bed was so comfortable too.

8/10 Very good

Lovely grounds by the beach. Just a short walk onto a beautiful beach. The pool area was nothing special. Had a swim up bar area but it wasn’t open when we were there. Couldn’t find where the pool towels come from. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff were lovely. My biggest complaint is the air con is a central system so you either turn it off-if you can figure out how, I had to call reception because the temperature gauge does nothing, or have it at there temperature-which was really cold. So we asked for an extra blanket because our room was freezing by then and there was only one extra blanket for 2 beds and they didn’t have any in the whole hotel. I thought that was ridiculous.

6/10 Good

Very dated, but fine for what it was. Expensive for its aged condition, but I guess you expect. Good for kids, although game room machines all took our money. 4 different machines. Reported to Reception and just got told that they don’t run it. Lost our money and 2 sad kids. Very scuffed bathtub, but handy for travelling with kids - alas, no plug. So exhausted from travel we gave up. Pool area was great. Good to unwind and even though it was cold, the spa was good for relaxing with the littlies and a drink for the parents. Restaurant was quite pricey for the quality, and doesn’t offer room service even though in the resort, which I found odd. After a long day travelling, it would have been nice to have the option to relax in our room rather than taking the kids to annoy everyone else while they screamed through dinner. Overall, a convenient stop on the way to and from Sydney.
