Amazing saty at Pismo Beach!
We had a nice stay at Edgewater. The room and bathroom was clean. The location is really amazing. You get beach views from some of the rooms and can walk to the beach in couple of minutes. I would highly recommend this.

Dirty, old, ran down
Huge spider in the stairwell and I got a text message at 9:00 a.m. that my checkout was 11 and had my alarm set for 10:00 because it doesn't take that long to pack up especially when we were there for two nights only. Received way too many messages from them all about leaving and getting out and we went in the hot tub and we arrived late and we literally went a few minutes over and they were on top of us about getting out which I think is ridiculous cuz we were sitting there quietly weren't breaking any rules and we're going to leave in a few minutes they knew the reason we stayed there was for the hot tub but were delayed because of our flight. The floor is all tile which is disgusting cuz if you come in wet at all then you have wet all over the floor there's no carpet it's just dirty not nice no way to charge your phones nearby the bed there's a hole in the wall covered up by a vent cover but it's covered in spiders and all kinds of disgusting things if you don't like spiders please don't stay here because he was super uncomfortable for me for sure!

The hotel was older needs some remodeling. The shower/tub had very little water pressure, the toilet did not want to flush most of the time. The heater was very loud I didn’t get much sleep at all the door closed and locked but had a gap all the way around you could see light it did not close well.

Overall the hotel isn’t bad. Outdated and could have the simplest upgrades and be way nicer. It’s clean. Beds not comfortable. Shower head height is for anyone under 5ft. Good/hot water pressure and temp. The staff were so friendly. Close to downtown and beach access. Good bang for your buck. Pool is heated and clean. Everything could use a good clean and wipe down.

Great location!
We love this place! Really great location. Great restaurants nearby. Really reasonable and extremely close to the beach. If you love walking on the beach like we do, this is the perfect place. I have limited mobility and this is perfect ocean access for us. We also travel with our small dog and it’s really ideal for pets. Love that there is no carpet!
