"theoretically, the hotel is pet-friendly and the bowls in front of the reception desk were empty and unwashed for 2 days. Pets are welcome, but they are not allowed for breakfast and the problem is that they bark in the room. Bar: whysky sour served without protein (I can understand it) but the recipe didn't include Angostura - it's one of the basic ingredients, and the bartender was surprised. "When we arrived to our rooms, the ceiling in one of the rooms was leaking. It took a while to get new rooms and no one seemed to be in a rush to help. It was very frustrating especially after a long day of travel. Our new rooms weren't on the same floor or together as we hoped but we made it work. Otherwise we had a nice stay. "This is a lovely property. I would say it’s more of a Relais & Chateau minus. Lighting was not great, closet was too small and had too few hangers - also they were the attached kind so difficult to use. "The front desk were helpful and friendly. The room carpet was a little stained but nothing major. Room was spacious and had a great view from the balcony. The day we wanted to utilize the indoor pool, they were having swim lessons so that was a bummer but we did get to use the jacuzzi which didn't get hot but it was no big deal. Overall, I enjoyed the hotel but my husband would probably suggest a different hotel next time. "
