What makes this B+B stand out is the attention to detail in making guests comfortable. Little things like providing body lotion, plenty of cups/mugs so you don't have to try to wash up, fresh milk, plenty of sockets for your phone etc and much more. On top of this the surrounding countryside is beautiful and quiet, the breakfasts excellent with plenty of choice, and the hosts provide a warm welcome.

A Real Treat and fabulous stay.
We had a great stay at the Mill… so quiet and peaceful and in a stunning location. Helen and Matt were terrific hosts ensuring our stay was perfect. Our room was spacious and comfortable and beautifully decorated. A fridge with fresh milk and an incredibly generous Biscuit jar (apologies for over indulging! 😂) was certainly a bonus. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful which we really enjoyed. We would highly recommend this lovely place and we hope to return. Graham and Kay.

Absolutely Wonderful
Couldn’t recommend it more highly, Matthew and Helen were lovely, really helpful and the location is wonderful. We had a lovely balcony with beautiful views and the room was faultless, spotlessly clean and they had thought of everything and added lots of extras which were very much appreciated. Having a fridge with fresh milk for your cuppa was also very much appreciated along with the water they provide. The naughty jar of treats and snacks was also very tempting along the really lovely breakfast they lovingly cook. Thank you Helen and Matthew x

Helen & Matt are first class hosts and The Mill offers a peaceful, relaxed break in beautiful surroundings. As many others have said, breakfast is of hotel quality and freshly cooked to order. For our evening meals we took an easy 11 mile drive to Llandeilo where there were several options. Visiting National Botanic Gardens was easy (once we used a map and ignored SatNag!) and that's an excellent day trip. We rarely visit the same place twice, however, we wouldn't hesitate to return to The Mill at Glynhir.

Delightful stay.
'The Mill" offers the room standards of a high class hotel as great effort has been to anticipate the guests needs. Where else would you find a jar filled with mini chocolate bars to enjoy whilst watching Netflix! Breakfast didn't disappoint either with plenty of choice including vegetarian options. In a nutshell if you are wanting to experience a rural stay away from the stress of everyday life with warm welcoming hosts this is the place for you.

West Wales wonder
We are in our 60's, well travelled, and I'm telling you this is the best B & B we've ever stayed at. Very friendly welcome and excellent breakfast. Our room had everything with thoughtful amenities (including a cookie jar !) with a large spacious bed. Plus a v good golf course 'next door'.

Fantastic hotel in lovely countryside
Fantastic hotel in the middle of nowhere. It's quite close to the Red Kite feeding station Llangadog SA19 9YG, equally remote, which was well worth a visit at their 3 pm feeding time. Incredibly quiet and restful. Dreadful weather and hosts thoughtfully left an umbrella outside our room before breakfast. The hosts were very friendly. The bedroom was delightful with quality bedding. Plenty of hot water. Very generous hospitality tray including fresh milk in a small fridge. Would have appreciated some caffeine free items both on the tray and at breakfast. We were warned that the internet was slow but we could not get it to work all evening. As a result we read and watched a concert on TV which may have contributed to the deep and dreamless sleep we had! The breakfast was well cooked and delicious with a wide choice. Toiletries were provided in small, single use plastic containers, made in China. In the fridge were 4 single use plastic bottles of water, and similar bottles were also provided at breakfast which reduced the marking for sustainability. Definitely on our list of B&Bs to visit again.

Such a beautiful place and the room was immaculate. The tea and snacks in the room were very generous. The host made us feel very welcome and asked what time we wanted our breakfast! Cozy bed. Towel warmer on in the bathroom. Parking was spacious and the area just naturally stunning. Balm for the soul. So wished I had arranged to stay longer.

Perfect BnB
Wow such a lovely place to stay, everything you need from Toothbrush to snacks and a fridge in the room. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. With a lovely terrace with table and chairs so decided to get a takeaway on the evening and eat there as the Garden was stunning. Then to finish the stay an amazing breakfast. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Thank you Helen and Matt for making us feel very welcome.

Amazing B&B stay with lovely hosts
We had such a lovely long weekend stay at The Mill and couldn’t have asked for better hosts. The pictures are nice but honestly do not do this place justice. The room was lovely and large with beautiful views from the private balcony (room 1). The bathroom newly renovated with a tub, bathroom amenities and very comfy bedding. Also the room had its own private entry so was easy to come and go throughout the day. Great range of tea/coffee and treats and the breakfast was really tasty with a great range of food and drinks to choose from. The alpacas we’re fun to watch and you can hear the river from the balcony too so it was a great spot to u wind and relax after a day of sightseeing and mountain climbing. Lovely and quiet location but very short drive to nearby town centre (range of pubs and shops) and with great access to many beauties South Wales has to offer. We would 100% stay again and recommend.

We arrived to a very warm welcome in the most beautiful and secluded spot which has a real WOW factor! Way beyond expectations from the first moment. Our room was decorated and furnished to an extremely high standard with a high quality shower and bathroom. The attention to detail was exceptional from a well stocked hot beverage basket, a choice of cold still or sparkling water and milk in the fridge to high quality selection of complimentary toiletries. Oh and a kilner jar filled with sweet and savoury treats to suit everyone’s taste. Such a lovely touch. The breakfast was an additional highlight. A high quality selection of fruits and pastries, followed by the best cooked breakfast we have had. The mushrooms were so tasty. All local produce and even gluten free sausages. We have both travelled to many places over the years and stayed in high quality accommodation at home and abroad. Our experience at The Mill is rated up there with the best! Congratulations to Matt and Helen on their vision, hard work and commitment. Their friendly but professional approach is the perfect balance. Nothing was too much trouble. A truly relaxing experience. We will certainly be returning and can not recommend Matt and Helen’s accommodation highly enough.
