Read the bottom of the hotel's Expedia page in small print under YOU SHOULD KNOW, it says a neighbouring building is under construction and may be noisey. It's not a neighbouring building it's part of the resort complex, bang in the middle of all the other units the noise is constant through the work day angle grinders and hammers.
After three days we wanted to cancel the remaining 9 days of the booking. The manager said she would give me an answer about a refund the morning we would check out. She didn't and was not around, I stated to her husband I was disappointed and would give a bad review and my wife's family who are local wouldn't recommend the place and we left with our infant child, my wife's elderly mother and her sister.
The hotel then sent an email through Expedia accusing me of shouting and being abusive. I did no such thing, and would never do so especially in front of my 7 month old infant and elderly mother in-law.
The beach was covered in plastic, I took 30 minutes to clean it with no staff around, the rooms are serviced by emptying the bin only, no sheet or towel change.
The manager is smiley and friendly but not interested if you have a problem.
Expedia helped get some refund but the hotel did not refund me fully.
