I am writing to provide feedback on my recent stay at your hotel from June 9 to June 10, 2023. While there were some positive aspects of my experience, there were several issues that significantly affected our stay and left us feeling dissatisfied.
Firstly, I would like to address the pricing and payment process. We booked our room through Hotel.com and were surprised to discover that the taxes were not included in the initial payment of $500. Typically, when booking through Hotel.com, all costs are paid upfront or clearly mentioned in advance, including any resort fees. However, it seems that this is not the case in Israel. It would have been helpful to have this information communicated clearly during the booking process.
Additionally, parking was a major inconvenience for us. As we arrived with two cars, we were disappointed to learn that there was no parking available at the hotel. The closest parking option we could find charged approximately 120 NIC per car, and when we drove to our restaurant in the evening, we had to pay another 120 NIC for parking. In total, we ended up spending around 360 NIC on parking alone. It would have been beneficial if the hotel had provided information about parking availability and associated costs in advance.
On the positive side, the hotel itself was nice and clean, which is something we highly value. However, the level of service fell short of our expectations compared to European or American standards.
