We had a lovely six night stay at Ktima Bianco, it was the perfect base for us to explore Naxos both on foot and by car. Located just outside the town but within easy walking distance of restaurants, cafes and a large, well stocked Spar supermarket. We walked from the property all the way to the edge of the port and back with no problems, there is plenty to see on the way. Similarly, the beach is a leisurely stroll away and we made good use of it.
Our ground floor room was large and spacious, and included a large covered terrace with table and seating, each room has a private entrance so we could come and go as we wanted. We had no problems sleeping well on the comfortable bed. In our room we also had a small kitchenette with stove, fridge-freezer and coffee maker.
The friendly staff were always on hand to provide help if we needed, and the checking-in and out process was straight forward, we were also able to store our bags upon early arrival.
The breakfast was a real highlight and a surprise each morning. Most of the items, from sweet pastries to savoury pies, omelettes, jams and chutneys were home made and they were all delicious! There was a huge choice and we were well stuffed by the end of it! Breakfast was served in the patio area looking out on to the garden.
As mentioned, it is a good base to explore the rest of the island. We drove in to the mountains, up to the villages as well as along the coastal roads towards the many and varied beaches on offer.
