They peek inside your room.
I usually don't write bad reviews. But this hotel is totally disgusting. Hotel staff need to learn manner. They don't know how to respect guests privacy. In the morning 8 am, they randomly open the guests room without knocking the door. They don't care whether there is guest inside the room or not, they don't care whether you are not wearing clothes or taking shower. They just tap the master key card, and Boom, open the door to see what are you doing. I wanted to stay in this hotel for 4 days, but because this happened to me too( they opened my room without knocking the door with their key card), i check out of this hotel soon right after that. All couples, i strongly suggest not to book this hotel if you want privacy. Maybe there is some hidden camera too. Just be careful in this hotel. They peeked us in our private time. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Never.

Hotel is in an excellent location, easy to get to Pub street and Night market. Hotel could do with some updating in rooms ; rooms are very basic if they put some flowers or pictures up it could make the room more welcoming; lobby was the nicest; water, coffee, tea and sugar had to be requested for replenishment every time ; they did not clean our room until I asked them to after that they did it every day; BREAKFAST was an issue - no western type breakfast - this has been complained about in other people’s reviews but obviously Bayon have not made any changes, breakfast is very basic - noodles/ rice/ bacon if it doesn’t get finished as the don’t replenish it/ some kind of small sausages and egg on request - same every day . Tea is very weak don’t know about coffee as did not drink it, It’s an okay hotel staff are good / rooms are not what you see online/ WiFi not brill / there is no tv which was disappointing

The Manager and Staff make for a Peasant Stay
When we arrived, we were shown to a room with a shower, even though I booked a room with a deep soaking bath tub. The very friendly and helpful manager corrected this straight away and gave us a spacious room with a bath tub. In fact, for us it was the manager, the reception staff and the very friendly young lady in the breakfast room who all contributed to a pleasant stay. The location of the hotel is in a quiet side street of Soksan, but still in walking distance to Pub Street and the Night Market. My friend enjoyed the pool and spent many hours there, especially on days where it was quiet. The let down of this hotel is the breakfast. It is geared towards the Asian group tours and offers little for the Western tastes. This should be improved. Muesli, Cornflakes, better jams and more variety of fruits would go a long way. We actually purchased some breakfast items from the supermarket. Another disappointment was that the cable for the TVs in the rooms broke down and we were given a notice that this would be indefinite due to larger repairs. No compensation was offered. We would say 4 star is a bit too grand on an international scale, but the hotel definitely offers a reasonable 3 star experience.
