Highly suspect food quality/hygiene
My family of 3 stayed 6 nights over Easter 2023 at a terrace suite. Our suite, the grounds, spa village, facilities and pool were beautiful and well-maintained with friendly service.
We ate every meal and every snack at the Ritz and got food poisoning on two occasions.
On night 5, our 10yr old got food poisoning after eating a burger from the kids menu room service. She threw up for over an hour.
On night 6, I got food poisoning after eating fried rice and noodles from Luk Yu. I barely slept having had to go to the bathroom all night.
At any establishment at any price, we need to be able to trust the food quality, especially from the kids menu. At the Ritz, we certainly expect better. Messages to the hotel and Marriot guest services have gone unanswered.
Beautiful hotel if you want to have a look. But hard to stay if even the cooked food cannot be trusted.
