The hotel is conveniently located and the bed is very comfortable, however, there were issues with my stay that will prevent me from ever booking here again. The staff is not following the Covid safety restrictions. At least once a day I walked past the large group table in the lobby to find 6-10 staff members sitting together, not wearing masks, having a meeting or eating. The in room heating/air conditioning does not work properly. They claim that you have to use the controls on the wall but those have no effect whatsoever on the unit. To adjust the temperature you have to use the unit itself and it does not maintain a consistent temperature regardless of how it is set so you constantly have to switch back and forth to keep a comfortable temperature. Obviously this is impossible overnight so basically you have to decide if you want to be woken up in the middle of the night because you're freezing or sweating. Also, for an extended stay hotel with 105 rooms to have only 2 washing machines on the property for guests and for one of them to be out of order (for at least the entire week of my stay) is ridiculous. Of course since they are unable to make change for you I suppose it doesn't matter that the machine isn't working. I travel frequently for work and stay at other Home2Suites locations throughout the country. This one is an embarrassment to the brand.
Wonderful. Would stay here again. Waffles are m-f only.
Very clean, pretty and accommodating. Great location too
The staff at check-in was very friendly and informative. The lobby was nice and warm, a relief after arriving in freezing cold Nebraska! The room was just ok in my opinion. It was clean but felt more like a well-appointed dorm room. The bed was very hard and the pillows were much too soft, the bathroom that had a pocket door that didn't really offer a good sense of privacy, and may be difficult to manuver for some, as it was just flat with no handle and sometimes got stuck inside the door frame. The shower has nice dispensers of shampoo and body wash but is small and the shower head is not adjustable, so you better hope you're the right height to avoid getting water blasted in your face. Our room was quiet and we didn't hear any other guests on the floor. My only real complaint was the furance that would randomly start blowing cold air directly on to the bed, after 4 days I still didn't really get the heating system figured out. Overall I would stay here again if I was alone, but there are better options for hosting someone who was visiting the city for the first time.
Nice 2 day stay. Hotel was clean and packaged breakfast foods were actual very good. Pet friendly hotel but they have no designated "walk area" for the furry ones. Fridge and freezer along with a seperate sink and microwave etc was a pleasant surprize! Will stay here again the next time we are in Omaha!
There was blood splatter on the floor in our room and on the curtain that separates the room. There was a funky smell, that I can only attribute to the cleaner they may be using.
It’s nice. Parking spaces need to be wider for SUVs and trucks.
Nice area to stay while in town for a few days.
The room and nice and big but you can hear everything going on outside the room. kids were running and screaming down the hall at like 1 am. You can hear the toilet flush in the room next door and it’s very loud.
We were happy with the hotel and stay. We needed to extend our stay a few nights which the lobby staff person took care of very easily. We were especially grateful that there were no neighbors on either side of our room (social distancing). Breakfast was very good considering another hotel we stayed at switched to “brown bag breakfasts.” Location, staff and housekeeping were all very good.
