I still don’t believe it!
clean and comfortable but the resort fee to use the pool (no pool) gym (gym closed per governor) entertaining area closed, restaurant closed ... Was ridiculous!

Room was robbed during stay
Unfortunately, the room was robbed during the stay and I also didn’t get the “gifts” (mini bar credit) listed when I booked through Hotels.com. Hotels.com reimbursed for the “Gifts” I never received and also for the stolen property (they really are incredible and I can not recommend booking through them enough). Other minor housekeeping items (no towels, bathrobes or coffee) were resolved easily by the very kind front desk staff but I won’t book here again.

Great hotel, awful neighbors
The fellow on staff when we checked in and the morning manager, Chardé (sp?), were wonderful and treated us like special guests. Unfortunately the room was missing both a standing and desk lamp and one of the bedside lamps was broken. Since we checked in late (after 6pm) there weren’t any housekeeping staff in attendance though I’m confident they would have corrected these issues had they been there at the time. The biggest issue were some disrespectful, loud guests on our floor, who woke us up and kept us up for over an hour at 1am. I can’t fault the hotel for these people and we were well compensated by a most apologetic staff this morning. I would definitely give the Godfrey another chance just based on the terrific customer service and hope to not suffer such awful neighbors on the next visit.

My room wasn’t clean. There were a lot of people hanging out in the front of the hotel. They did not have a corkscrew for my bottle of wine. I was very uncomfortable and irritable.

Not a pleasant experience
I was disappointed that the hotel didn’t have a microwave or they didn’t clean my room due to Corona Virus. I feel this should be posted on their website or communicated when checked in and it wasn’t. Also I was told by one of the front desk clerks to download an app called spothero for parking to get discounted parking. I did and he failed to tell me not to choose the option for valet. Due to the Corona Virus they do not have a valet attendant. Then I had to go through the process to get that refunded which was $45. Lastly the keurig machine didn’t work in the room. They did bring another one the next day and I asked for more cups, called the front desk to asked if they did, again spoke with the same gentleman that told me about the app. He said, you can come downstairs to get it. Not too happy about the service at this hotel, especially the money I paid. My advise to the hotel, if you can’t provide a great customer experience during this pandemic you shouldn’t be open for business. I want to note the young lady that checked me in was great .

I never received my bottle of wine or my minibar credit. It cost $52 to park which was more than 1/2 the price of the room. Finally, the halls were so noisy, it kept waking me all night,

Who is the face of your business to your customer?
Awful rep at the front. Cool air wouldn't work. Awful front desk attendant did not even suggest that we could open a window. I would fire the front desk in a heartbeat.
