Historic property overlooking the Saigon river, close to great restaurants and shopping. First rate breakfast buffet, unfortunately I can't recommend the happy hour other than the view it's nothing special. If you like well preserved historic hotels you shouldn't miss this one.

Elegant hotel with good view of Saigon River with plenty of walking spaces. Close to pedestrian walking street. Tours all collected from hotel which was convenient. Room was large and comfortable with no noise. M Bar was a feature with views over the river.

The hotel is on the older side. The rooms have a retro feel to it from the early part of 20th century. There are few amenities like only one plug in the room. Hot water is not really too hot. Have to open the cold water in order to use the shower so it becomes luke warm. Staff is not too friendly.

The only problem that I have is that I accidentally booked two stays, and I understand their policies in place for this to protect hotels and visitors, but I was really hoping that somebody can refund the state that I didn't use. It's actually quite unfortunate. I've never had a problem with Expedia before. Perfect 3 night stay! The hotel IS majestic, built 1925 and beautifully maintained throughout. Kind smiling helpful staff everywhere, great breakfast, comfortable quiet rooms and a welcome pool experience. All in a perfect location for restaurants cafes and bars within only a few minutes walk. The hotel’s rooftop bar is well priced, great cocktails and views that should not be missed. Highly recommended, value for money.
