A fabulous mountain retreat set between forests and tea gardens. Beautifully maintained lawns with great vistas. Loved our stay.
However due to road washouts from 2018 floods, almost impossible to get to. A miracle we found our way.
But well worth the journey!

Never go here
I could not reach the hotel due to misguiding of hotel site by Hotel Manager. More over the hotel I think can be accessed only after passing forest check post, I would suggest no wise couple should take risk to visit the Campus Noel. However I requested the manager to refund at least one day tarriff paid online, as I had booked for two days stay. Anyways couples this is not a stay for as it may upset your whole programme of a holiday stay

Amazing View
Amazing place away from hustle bustle of the munnar town. Route from munnar town to hotel covers most of the munnar's attractions . You will have to pass through national park in between. Beautiful place . Amazing cottages . With nice fireplace . We stayed in two bedroom cottage. it was nice and clean. Reasonable food and very friendly staff . Especially alvin and vishnu gave us really great hospitality.

Superb Hotel but reaching there takes 2 hours
Superb experience. Can never forget. Good unwinding. Food in the hotel is normal not great.
Staff is very good.
Must remember the visibility when reaching in the evening due to heavy mist is very poor. So plan to reach in the afternoon. It's 2 hours from Munnar. Never try to travel and reach thereafter 6 pm , it's huge risk. Carry some music players along, some games for playing at cottage to make your experience more fabulous.

2 nights of smelly toilets
Terrible hotel set in spectacular natural beauty. Broken floor board, no hot water, toilets that reeked of sulfur, 3 hours drive from the town of Munnar inside the Shola national Park.

far from the madding crowd
the place is a gem 45 km away from munnar.got there without much difficulty ,its better to ask than rely on google maps or gprs and the hotel staff had offered to accompany us from munnar.
we had not ordered our beforehand and so were not given much of a choice for lunch as we arrived late afternoon.
but then the chef was ready to serve food to our pick for dinner, you just have to order in advance.
the place is serene away from all the hustle bustle and the staff are quite friendly and helpful.
the rooms are neat and well kept.

Difficult to find
Having arrived we had a good one night stay, nice view, good food, friendly staff and service. However, the website should inform ; about the distance from Munnar (50 km), and distance to the respective junctions where signboards could be difficult to see. The hotel has no drink-license, supply is private and very limited. The description of the cottages are good, but the ones of the rooms are pure imagination

Wonderful Place - Though some task to reach
I stayed with my wife for a day on 19th Dec 2013. It is a fantastic experience. Away from the maddening crowd. Manager Jacob is very cordial and so is the other staff. Excellent food. Great Stay. Only thing if slightly negative is the distance from Munnar but anyhow one visits Top Station and it is around 11 Kms further from Top Station. Caution - Reach Top Station and then take further road to Camp Noel. Avoid taking a Tea Estate Road that comes on left around 3 kms before Top Station. It is very very bad road. I searched on Google Maps and it shows that road in direction

Not so typical place to stay in Munnar!
We stayed at this place for 3 nights over Christmas Eve.
Location/Getting There: Anyone who wants to go there has to realise that this hotel is 36km away from the Munnar town of which last 8km is a off-road driving on a dirt road. This is clearly marked on their website, but I thought I would mention it here since it's easy to miss. We drove in our own car (SUV). We called the hotel as we left the Munnar town and as promised the hotel vehicle was waiting for us on the main road (where the dirt-road starts). We followed the vehicle for next 8km to the hotel. The driver was very patient waiting for us at each turn as I was driving very slowly on the dirt-road to protect my vehicle. The drive though rough, is through small villages, forest and tea plantations providing excellent views and photo opportunities. Once you get to the hotel it's a different world. This is definitely not the hotel for people who want to do only typical sight-seeing in Munnar and expecting lot of activities around the hotel.
If you want to visit Munnar for a different experience then this is definitely worth visiting. Two nights is a minimum for this due to location and difficulty in getting here. This is definitely not for just overnight stay.

Not a great experience
The trip up to the resort was not a good experience. I did not realise that the resort is at the top station and cannot be assessed by normal transport only by jeep. The jeep ride was scary as we arrived after the sun set not realising that there is another 1 hour ride to the resort for the hill top. The jeep ran out of petrol and battery and another vehicle had to jump start the jeep. Also we stayed for one night and did not get the chance to enjoy the surrounds and activities. Definitely should not stay one night at this resort and be prepared for a long ride up from Munnar that is another 2 hours to the resort.
I must say that the staff tried to accommodate us to fit in some activities in view of our short stay but we just did not have the time unfortunately.
