Hamlet Dubrovnik
The building stinks to ciguerrete despite is a non smoking place. Breakfast is VERY basic for 10euros, just ham, cheese and bread. The TV in my room was just decoration as it didn’t have any cable connected and no remote control. I gave 2 stars just because the location is good.
Jonathan, 1-night trip

Very central accommodation Basic but clean and friendly ideal for a sightseeing trip

Top Location in the old city, very friendly staff, good coffee and loads of coffeshops, restaurants and bars around!

This B&B is located in such a great location for sure. The room was somewhat "older decor" but clean and safe with modern split system heat and AC. We wereable to walk the entire area for shopping, sightseeing, dining. Our only negative is the after hours, late night voices from people having a few drinks outside in the alley (noise travels). We did not take advantage of the breakfast as we had a flight to catch - it lookeda bit meager certainly good for a quick bit prior to heading out. The owners are very nice.

Very nice and friendly staff. Nice and clean room… little breakfast included. Main Street of Dubrovnik is 5 minutes away.

Great location, almost right on the main street. Easy to get to from two gates into Old Town. Clean and a nice breakfast included. Staff was friendly.

2/10 Poor

Tired. Great location if you didn’t have to lug large suitcase’s through the old town. Air con non-exsistent. Couldn’t open the window due to cigarette smoke from below. Leak in stairwell as we were checking out.

Nice hotel, right in the lively center of Old Town
Nice hotel, right in the lively center of Old Town. Very convenient for local attractions, as well as a few minutes walk for a meeting point for most tour operators. Easily accessible after-hours. Breakfast isn't served until 0800, so too late if your catching most morning tours. Skip the pre-paid breakfast.

You get what you pay for!
This is a pretty sketchy spot run by sketchy people, so be careful! Definitely felt like an old hotel and not super safe. However, the location is great as it’s right in the middle of Old Town and convenient to most areas you would want to visit.

2/10 Poor

We had a terrible stay here, would not recommend at all!! We arrived for check in but were unable to check in for a couple hours after because it wasn’t ready. Then when we could check in the air con on the top floor which is where we were staying was broken and did not get fixed our entire stay which was horrific given it was peak summer. The staff who work at the bar were lovely but spoke very little English and the owner of the place was terrible she was not helpful at all. Our shower was also broken. The wifi also didn’t work and data to work in the room either. We have tried contacting Expedia for some sort of refund and have let heard from anyone. Do not stay here.

The facility wasn't in good conditions. We woke up at 8:30 am and when we went for breakfast there was a guy sleeping in the couch. The only thing that is good about his property is the location.
Juan, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Location is excellent as well as personnel attention. Installations, cleanliness, reception in very bad shape and strong cigarette smell everywhere. I guess that for smokers it is acceptable.

10/10 Exceptional

I stayed there with two senior ladies and all three of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The building is old with character and felt like we were living in the castle area in old times. Beautiful! Beautiful paintings as well. Of course it is old, and not perfect but lots of amenities e.g. shower etc are new and clean. The breakfast lovely, the care of staff (Maro)amazing, and the location ideal. I was worried when I read some reviews, but in the end we fell in love with the place and the city of course. The location of the hotel is more than ideal.

10/10 Exceptional

Good for dursing though not the best in Dubrovnik Definition of durst: to lay horizontally in a state of mess while surfing the web, watching TV or both simultaneously.
Paul, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

The property is above a little bar area, in and excellent and convenient location in the walled city. Breakfast in the morning was nice. The property itself could use a little work, and the cot we had ( there were 3 of us) had broken slats, so we just put the mattress on the ground. The man who was in charge of giving us our keys and breakfast etc was very sweet. Overall it was a lovely place to stay- but could use some up keep.
James, 4-night trip

The location was great. Unfortunately the air conditioning did not work and in Dobrovnik in August you need air conditioning. Roll away bed for our daughter was broken, despite our paying for an extra guest. Breakfast was too late if you were trying to make a flight or tour.

Look elsewhere
There is NO free parking at this hotel, despite the listing (took us 4 hours to organise parking, very stressful). Bathroom tap gives only a trickle of water, bathroom door handle fell off, hairdryer didn’t work, makeshift repair to the ceiling and damp mould in curtains. Fabric of the room was just run down. Service was good and location for sightseeing excellent. Breakfast was very basic, but coffee was good.
Andrew, 2-night trip

No free parking as advertised
We booked this hotel as it offered free offsite parking, however upon arrival were told there is no parking and given directions by the owner to a supermarket car park miles away. Thankfully the front of house manager Maro (who was so friendly and helpful the whole stay) was able to direct us to a more legitimate free parking area where we wouldn’t get towed.
