Room amazing -hotel disappointing would not return
We booked this hotel specifically for the waterslides and because of the beach club we thought it would have a lively atmosphere in the evening. sadly, because of the location, the pool was too cold for my son and the beach club you couldn’t sit outside and there was no atmosphere. Very disappointing. The positives about this hotel was the club, villa room which is absolutely wonderful. It was like a glass box so you could see all the beautiful foliage and swimming pool. It had a sunken bath and a private courtyard with pool. Highly recommended. Bonus was the inclusive minibar & one hour drinks in the lounge The hotel is not on the beach as it appears in the photos. There is a street between. You can also not go on the beach at this time of year as the seas are too rough & the beach was disgusting. So you need to understand this is not a beach holiday during the winter season I have to say, I thought the hotel was disappointing in terms of the breakfast and the attitude of the staff which was extremely unwelcoming. Given the price of this hotel I had to pay an extra £70 for a bed for my son. nobody else in Bali charges. The lady at the desk was useless. Checking in was so slow when we had arrived late and so unwelcoming. We were not feeling it when we arrived. I was also told in the lounge I had to finish my drink before I could order another one like a naughty schoolgirl when she’s given me a flat sparkling wine. They are quite hard-nosed here unlike other areas
