Nice property, shame about noisy guests
This is a really beautiful property with a great swimming pool in the middle. Potential to be very relaxing. Staff were good and owners very friendly. Breakfast was good. We liked the location as it was quiet although it’s a 10-15 min walk to town - fine for us as we like the exercise but beware if you don’t like walking as parking in town in peak season is NOT an option. We had an ongoing issue with a large group who were staying there who used the pool every afternoon as their personal party area complete with a stereo pumping loud music and even glass bottles in the pool itself. Staff were initially reluctant to sort it out but eventually did after multiple complaints. Not their fault for these disrespectful guests of course but there could have been more proactivity in handling it. It put a damper on our stay so much so that by the last day we were so fed up that we avoided going to the pool at all even though it was one of the main reasons we booked it. Otherwise it’s a very nice place to stay and we were probably just unlucky.
