I had an electronic receipt from Expedia that I had PRE-PAID. But because the hotel was having internet problems, I had to pay AGAIN, and I had to provide a CASH deposit which was more than the price of the room. In ADDITION I had to pay for my room AGAIN - and IN CASH. Luckily I had the cash with me, I typically don't. They complained to me that it was all on their website. However, I didn't go to their website, I booked through Expedia, which didn't mention I would need all cash at checkin. Now I am waiting to see if they refund the DUPLICATE charge for the room. Also - they threatened to "Call the Cops" on me when I complained and said I would give them a terrible review for charging me twice. The police, seriously? For saying you will be giving them a bad review? But I guess charging people twice, when they have a receipt showing they have already paid is ok.
